Housing repairs and maintenance opportunities for local businesses

Date added: 26/02/2018

Join us Thursday 1 March 2018 at FinditinBirmingham's breakfast and networking event which will present all supply chain opportunities connected to Birmingham City Council's four-year housing repairs & maintenance contact.

From 1 April 2016, Birmingham City Council's tenants started to receive repairs, maintenance, gas servicing and home improvements provided by one of three major contractors.

At our 'Birmingham City Council: A Housing Repairs and Maintenance Contract Exclusive’, Wates Living Space, Engie and Fortem will all discuss their contract to support Birmingham housing and how you can work alongside them in the delivery of the services.

Improved service and massive savings

Attendees can hear from Birmingham City Council about the contract, which operates on a geographical basis. Council tenants  have repairs, maintenance, gas servicing and home improvements provided by one contractor – Engie, Wates Living Space or Fortem. The contract has been described as leading to an improved service and sees some massive savings that are ploughed back into the council's housing services.

Engie (previously Willmott Dixon Partnerships Ltd) was awarded the contract for south quadrant, Wates for the west- central and east quadrant, and Fortem (previously Keepmoat Regeneration Ltd) the contract for the north.
All three contractors will be offering information packed presentations about their ongoing involvement in the project and the opportunities available to the local supply chain.

Your opportunity to sit down and talk business!

All of the contractors are long-time supporters of FinditinBirmingham and are committed to sourcing local supply chains.

Supply chain and procurement teams will all be on hand to meet attendees in a series of pre-booked one-to-one meetings, so get in touch now to request your slot. Interested parties are urged to book as fast as possible as these exclusive meetings become fully booked quickly.
