Like every city Birmingham finds itself challenged on dealing with the negative effects of substance misuse. By substance misuse we specifically mean drugs and alcohol.

In Detail

To help this Change, Grow, Live (commissioned by Birmingham City Council) is providing treatment and employment support to enable individuals who are work-ready to get back into employment.

CGL’s IPS (Individual Placement Support) Employment Specialists provide bespoke 1-2-1 employment preparation and support to enable individuals to get back into a job they are both passionate about and skilled in.

Once in work the team will continue to work with the individual and, if required, the employer to make the appointment a success.

In short, a person recovering from a substance dependency, who’s receiving structured advocacy and support, and employers in need of loyal, hard-working employees may be an ideal match for that next job opening in your Birmingham based business.
