UK Construction Week Birmingham (UKCW Birmingham), the UK’s largest trade show for the built environment is back, and the Finditin Network is delighted to announce that for the third year running we are proud Premium Event Partners, hosting our brand-new ‘BIG Buyers Lounge’.

Innovative, inspirational and progressive, UK Construction Week (UKCW) Birmingham returns for its ninth year in October. As the industry faces mounting pressure to adapt to sustainable practices, UKCW Birmingham stands out as a pivotal event where the future of construction will be shaped.

Registration is now live for UKCW Birmingham, which will run from 1 - 3 October. It will run alongside Grand Designs Live and due to growing demand, two new shows will be launched, ‘On-site on Hire’ and the ‘Roofing, Cladding and Insulation Expo (RCI Expo)', bringing six shows under one roof.

The three-day construction show, welcoming over 20,000 visitors, will focus on renewable energy and eco-conscious innovation and will feature over 300 leading brands, including Kingspan, Reco Surfaces, and SIG. Alongside over 200 CPD hours during sessions led by over 300 thought leaders and keynote speakers.

This year, the event introduces a new stage dedicated to Net Zero and Sustainability. The 'Net Zero Hub' will host a series of panel discussions throughout the event.

Appearing on the main stage for the first time together since their election will be the East and West Midlands Combined Authority Mayors, Claire Ward and Richard Parker. The round table discussion, hosted by George Clarke, will see the Mayors of the Midlands discussing delivering housing and infrastructure in their respective regions.

UKCW Birmingham will feature sessions and seminars led by industry experts across the show’s eight stages:

• UKCW Main Stage - focusing on six key themes, each morning and afternoon will include a keynote, panel and case study.
• Roofing, Cladding & Insulation Hub – the hub programme will be discussing the impact of the Building Safety Act and what future legislation means for the industry.
• Infrastructure Hub – providing a platform for the wave of infrastructure projects aligned with the new government's plans.
• Net Zero Hub - a carefully curated agenda will delve into the latest advancements and strategies in green building, biodiversity, and integrating nature into urban environments.
• Live Demo Hub – allowing you to experience first-hand the design, performance and ingenuity of innovative products from our international exhibitors.
• Skills & Training Hub - The Skills and Training Hub will bring talks and workshops to UKCW covering EDI, skills to meet future needs and more.
• Culture Change Hub - where vital topics such as mental health, social value in projects, diversity and inclusion, and construction safety are addressed in detail.
• Digital Construction Hub - The centre piece of innovation at UKCW. This hub will deliver a series of presentations and panel discussions including topics such as Information Management using BIM.
