Cyber Security and Data Responsibility: Navigating supply chain threats and the evolving legal landscape

Anthony Collins Solicitors proposes to explore the legal and regulatory implications under data protection legislation of third party vendors suffering data breaches and how this can impact your business and plans for growth.
They will examine the risks around enforcement action by the Information Commissioner's Office, the potential for data breach claims exposure and the limitations of insurance coverage where organisations lack dedicated cyber policies.
They'll also provide a practical update on data protection, privacy and cyber security, including discussion on the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025 - whilst the Act is evolutionary rather than revolutionary, the Act introduces important changes regarding subject access requests, automated decision-making and recognised legitimate interests, all of which are key for businesses looking to automate and scale.
