Calling suppliers and contractors - do you want to work with Amey?

Amey is working in partnership with Birmingham City Council to manage and maintain the city’s huge highways network until 2035 and wants to meet local companies within a variety of areas.

The contract includes 2,500km of local road network, nearly 100,000 street lights and over 850 highways structures and bridges across the city.

In addition, they deliver infrastructure projects to a range of clients in the city, including highways pinch point schemes, Birmingham Cycle Revolution projects and various lighting developments. 

Amey is dedicated to supporting the local economy and community, whilst providing a high-quality service. They are committed to spending with local suppliers and engaging with social enterprises and are currently looking for providers in the following areas:
  • Civil engineering
  • Construction
  • Landscaping 
  • Arboriculture services 
  • Electrical services
