As part of Aston Business Schools series of events, they have invited leading marketer and Aston alumna Dr Eva Eisenschimmel back to Aston Business School to share her expertise and passion for customers, brands, digital engagement and building diverse teams at work. Eva was one of the alumni chosen as one of our Honorary Graduates during our 50th year. 

Dr Keith Glanfield, leading marketing lecturer and part of Aston Business Schools' Marketing Group will be hosting the session and rally looking forward to welcoming Eva back to Aston.

About the guest

Dr Eva Eisenschimmel – Customer and Brand Champion 

Eva Eisenschimmel has worked in multiple sectors, in businesses of different sizes and types and has lived and worked abroad in five countries during her diverse career. The red threads throughout are a passion for customers, brands, digital engagement and building diverse teams at work.

She joined Lloyds Banking Group (LBG) as MD, Retail Marketing and Direct Channels (Lloyds TSB, Halifax & Bank of Scotland plus Telephone Banking and Digital/Mobile Banking) and was subsequently appointed Group Chief Marketing Director and Group Culture Director.

Previously, Eva was the Chief Operating Officer at EDF Energy, during the acquisition & integration of British Energy, VP Europe at Allied Domecq, Head of Relationship Marketing at British Airways and founded her own digital marketing agency in the early days of the internet. She was co-founder of the digital inclusion charity Go ON UK with Dame Martha Lane-Fox.

Functionally, she has deep experience of sales, marketing, HR and culture change. She has led large teams inspiring them to high performance; even through significant change and champions colleagues everywhere she works to meet their goals with confidence. 

Eva works full time as a consultant to Permira on the integration of two credit management companies, splitting her time between Leeds and Essen in Germany and has been NED on the board of First Utility Limited since March 2015.
