At a special event on Tuesday 27 November 2018, Midlands businesses will have the chance to hear from Birmingham 2022 organisers about their plans and the procurement and supply chain opportunities available for local SMEs.
The local and regional business community will play an essential role in the success of the Games. Our shared ambition is to drive sustainable growth for the region; creating opportunities through trade, investment, jobs and skills.
The Organising Committee and its Games Partners will contract thousands of companies and suppliers to help deliver the Games, or projects related to the Games, and this event provides a broad overview of the business opportunities available, where they will be advertised, and offers advice on how businesses can prepare and get involved.
The event will be hosted by the Birmingham 2022 Chairman John Crabtree and Broadcaster Jonathan Edwards CBE.
