Trading Standards have organised National Consumer Week which will be held from 21st-25th November 2011.
National Consumer week is a yearly event organised by the Trading Standards Institute and each Trading Standards Department organise events for that week to make consumers aware of their rights. This year the topic is Good Sports Don't fake it! around the theme of the London Olympics 2012.
Trading Standards are concerned there will be counterfeit T-shirts, flags, beach towels, bottles, balloons on sale in the City.
The event is to alert consumers of potential fakes and cons around the Olympics next year.

25/11/11 Cocks Moor Leisure Centre Alcester Road South 10.00-15.00 hours
They will be available to give advice and information and have display material.
There will be a quiz and some goodies to give out to members of the public!
