Date added: 21/12/2011

City companies are being encouraged to attend the area’s first big business event of the New Year by booking a place at finditinbirmingham’s January breakfast meeting.

Regenerations projects in 2012 will be the hot topics at the Birmingham Hippodrome on Thursday 5 January 2012.

Attendees will hear the most up-to-date accounts of the year’s biggest projects from Birmingham City Council and construction giant Carillion.

Andrew Round, Birmingham City Council’s Head of Development (Planning & Regeneration), will offer finditinbirmingham members a first-hand briefing about regeneration projects around the city.

Simon Dingle, Operations Director for Carillion plc, will explain the contracts opportunities still available from the £188.8 million Library of Birmingham work, which will continue into 2013, and the £5 billion company’s supply chain requirements.

Finditinbirmingham members can also request a five-minute informal chat with Carillion’s representatives by emailing heather@finditinbirmingham.com

‘Regeneration projects around Birmingham’ is the latest in finditinbirmingham’s hugely successful breakfast meetings, which regularly offer top quality networking opportunities, an invaluable source of contacts and – of course – a free bacon butty.

Plus, attendees can visit a range of exhibition stands from leading local companies and organisations such as Shelforce, Business Tank, Headland Archaeology, Access Etc, the city’s Employment Access Team and Click Software: Bespoke Software Solutions based in Birmingham. Click Software is the authorised dealer of Spector 360, the award-winning Employee Monitoring Software Solution.
