‘Tis the season for free networking in the West Midlands

Date added: 09/11/2011

Business people from all around the West Midlands can give themselves an extra Christmas present by attending a free networking event before the holidays begin.

‘Christmas Cards & Business Cards’ is the Bethel Convention Centre’s flagship festive networking event, and the organisers say it will help to "keep your leads warm” this winter.

Attendance at the Tuesday 13 December event, which takes place from 12 noon to 3pm, is free of charge and includes a complimentary turkey seasoned bap and a mince pie. The event is supporting St Mary’s Hospice and delegates will be able to make a donation and leave a loving message.

Anyone who wants their business to sit at the top of the Christmas tree can hire an exhibition stall for the discounted festive rate of £50 each.

"We’re expected an excellent turn-out,” said Fiona Conway from the Bethel Convention Centre. "Our location is ideal for thousands of businesses all around the West Midlands to visit. The only thing that attendees need to remember is to bring lots of business cards and a bit of festive cheer. It’s the perfect way to make new contacts, keep in touch with old contacts and make sure that your leads don’t go cold during the winter holidays.”

The Bethel Convention Centre can be found just off junction 1 of the M5 and has plenty of free parking. It’s a purpose-built £3.6 million venue that was opened in 2001 and regularly hosts conferences, seminars, concerts, product launches and even wedding receptions. Its auditorium is one of the UK’s biggest concert venue with fixed seating for up to 2,500 people.
